Cast Iron Ingots are Iron Ingots that have been resmelted. Once they have been smelted into Cast Iron, these ingots cannot be used for tools any longer. Cast Iron Ingots can be crafted into Cast Iron Blocks for building or crafted into Cast Iron Railings, which are stronger than Wooden Fences. Cast Iron Ingots are also required for making a Chemical Furnace, as well as being an ingredient in making Electric Lamps, Lamp Blocks, and Tesla Receivers.
